Vinyasa Flow Yoga utilized posture and breathing techniques, and encompasses all areas of mind, body and spirit. This yoga class teaches an invigorating flow that facilitates body awareness, emotional consciousness and the connection of movement with breath.
The purpose of ashtanga vinyasa practice is internal cleansing. By synchronizing breathing and movement in the asanas we create heat that warms the blood, thinning it so that it may circulate more freely. Join this class if you are a beginner, if you have little or no experience and learn how simple moves combined with breath can make big change in the way you feel: relieve stress, stretch achy muscles and bring movement to tight joints.
Pilates engages the mind and conditions the body with a blend of strength and flexibility. With a focus on muscle balance, Pilates helps to improve posture and range of motion by strengthening weaker muscle groups and stretching the over-worked muscles. Detailed instruction on alignment will be given in this class, and supplementary equipment may be introduced.

This class is a specialized program to increase flexibility, avoid injuries, relieve stress and enjoy being more active. Bring a floor mat, towel and water. The gym also has mats. The class is adapted for each student. It is a class specifically for the 50+ age group, but all ages and levels are welcome.
Bones & Balance uses free weights, resistance bands, Pilates, and calisthenics, as means to improve bone density through strength training, improve balance and coordination, and improve posture and flexibility.
